About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Lab Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As an Electronics Lab Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our laboratory equipment, ensuring that it is calibrated and functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and testing
  • Assist engineers with test setup and execution, including wiring and soldering
  • Perform functional testing of electronic assemblies to aid design verification and qualification
  • Diagnose test equipment-related faults and execute preventative maintenance and calibration plans
  • Record accurate test records and provide requested yield and failure reports
  • Assist engineering with ongoing investigations and initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualification in Electronics, e.g. HNC/HND or higher
  • Approximately 2 years (or more) experience in an electrical role in engineering
  • Demonstrable skills in electrical wiring, electronics, and soldering
  • Familiarity with electrical test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and methods of testing systems in an electrical lab
  • Familiarity with test software, e.g. LabView
  • Demonstrable experience in cable selection, termination, and safety testing for standard low-voltage apparatus
