Education and Justice Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and solution-focused individual to join our team as a Pupil Wellbeing Advocate. The successful candidate will have previous experience of building relationships with people who may have previously disengaged from support services.
This is a fixed-term position until 26/06/2025, working within the Portobello Learning Community based in Brunstane Primary School. The role involves delivering targeted interventions to improve the wellbeing, attendance, and attainment of pupils by removing emotional, practical, and financial barriers to effective school attendance.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting vulnerable children and families, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to build partnerships with other support organisations to enhance capacity and expertise within the learning community.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,046 - £32,010 (pro-rata for sessional) and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
