About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Podiatrist to join our East Cheshire NHS Trust Community Podiatry Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical foot services to patients across a large geographical area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Clinical Specialist in the Podiatry Service, undertaking triage, assessment, and treatment of referred patients.
  • Undertake work in a minimum of one specialist area, including wound care, nail surgery, or biomechanics.
  • Support the development of Podiatrists, Podiatry Assistants, and Podiatry students as a Clinical Educator.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support the Team Managers and Advanced Clinical Specialists in the day-to-day running of the clinics.

Requirements

  • NHS experience and working in the community at Specialist Podiatrist level is essential.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills are required.

Working Arrangements

This is a bank-based position, with hours to be agreed upon appointment.
