About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our East Cheshire NHS Trust Community Podiatry Service as a Specialist Podiatrist.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as a Clinical Specialist in the Podiatry Service, undertaking triage, assessment, and treatment of referred patients.
  • Support the development of Podiatrists, Podiatry Assistants, and Podiatry students as a Clinical Educator.
  • Collaborate with Team Managers and Advanced Clinical Specialists to ensure the day-to-day running of clinics and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • Relevant professional degree or diploma
  • Certificate in Local Anaesthesia
  • Post-registration knowledge relevant to the specialist area, evidenced by CPD
  • Awareness of national and local priorities and changing trends in the specialist area
