About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Bluebird Care Wellingborough. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to customers, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Promote and maintain the independence and dignity of our customers.
  • Assist with personal care needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, toileting, and continence care.
  • Offer comfort and companionship to our customers, engaging in activities that bring them joy and fulfillment.
  • Assist with household tasks and meal preparation, ensuring our customers' living spaces remain safe and comfortable.
  • Accompany customers to appointments, social visits, and days out, promoting their social connections and community engagement.
  • Administer medication and provide support with medication management.
Requirements
  • Caring, flexible, and adaptable approach to care delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK, with a valid passport, birth certificate, or indefinite leave to remain.
  • Satisfactory references and a minimum availability of alternate weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
