Lead Care Practitioner

Service Care Solutions is currently seeking a Lead Care Practitioner for a specialized residential facility dedicated to children’s care.

The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the residential facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and prioritizing the safety and well-being of the young residents.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Lead Care Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing the residential facility on a daily basis, ensuring adherence to all legislative and contractual obligations, while addressing the health and educational needs of the children.
  2. Collaborating with various departments and external organizations to guarantee that the children receive suitable plans, programs, and support to facilitate their reintegration into the community.
  3. Mentoring, supporting, and developing team members, including conducting supervision sessions to enhance their performance and uphold high standards of care, ethical practices, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  4. Assisting in the preparation and management of budgets to align with financial guidelines.
  5. Interpreting and implementing legislative changes related to occupancy to ensure all enhanced requirements are fulfilled.

Requirements:

  • A recognized professional qualification in social work or QCF level 3 (or working towards it).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in residential care.
  • A valid driving license.
  • An enhanced DBS check.
