Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team in Wellingborough and the surrounding villages. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our customers, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to customers, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Promote and support independence and dignity, enabling customers to maintain their autonomy and quality of life.
  • Assist with personal care needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, toileting, and continence care.
  • Provide comfort and companionship to customers, engaging in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with household tasks and meal preparation, ensuring customers' living environments are safe and comfortable.
  • Support customers to access the community, attending appointments, social visits, and days out.
  • Assist with medication management, ensuring customers receive their prescribed medication in a timely and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Caring and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to drive safely and efficiently.
  • Right to work in the UK, with a valid passport, birth certificate, or indefinite leave to remain.
  • Satisfactory references, demonstrating a history of providing high-quality care and support.
  • Minimum availability to progress is alternate weekends, both Saturday and Sunday.
