Learning Disability Service Manager

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Disability Service Manager to lead our residential care service in providing specialist support to individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing training and support to ensure consistent responses to clients.
- Behaviour Management: Develop and implement behaviour management programmes for each resident, ensuring reflective supervision and learning takes place following incidents.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of service is provided to clients, promoting a culture that aligns with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
- Home Environment: Deliver a home environment that prioritizes the well-being and quality of life of clients, embracing a person-centred planning approach.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare weekly management reports for the regional manager, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 5 - Health and Social Care
- Experience: Considerable management experience in residential care, with a proven track record of leading and managing a team.
- Skills: Excellent skills in staff supervision and management, with a proven ability to develop good practice in a care/learning support context.
