Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Service Manager to lead our residential care service in Woodley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service, ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest quality of service is provided to service users by promoting a culture that aligns with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
  • Deliver a home environment that prioritizes the well-being and quality of life of service users, embracing a person-centred planning approach.
  • Carry out monthly monitoring of the service, ensuring action plans are in place and implemented as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date Home Improvement Plan, driving actions in line with this.
  • Proactively manage the service in relation to risk and regulation performance.
  • Investigate significant events as necessary, ensuring reports are written and submitted to the relevant Director and agencies.
  • Oversee complaints and safeguarding matters, ensuring reports are written and submitted as necessary.
  • Prepare a weekly management report for the regional manager, covering operational and regulatory matters.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 - Health and Social Care
  • Considerable management experience in residential care
  • Excellent skills in staff supervision and management
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, developing good practice in a care/learning support context.
  • Proven experience of working effectively with clients with learning disabilities and/or special needs.
