Fantastic Registered Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a caring and passionate Learning Disability Service Manager to make a difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and driving the provision of a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day behaviour management programmes for each resident, ensuring staff are trained, supported, and engaged to provide consistent responses.
  • Develop and implement person-centred plans, promoting a culture that aligns with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
  • Manage risk and regulation performance, overseeing complaints and safeguarding matters in conjunction with the responsible individual.
  • Prepare weekly management reports for the regional manager, highlighting operational and regulatory matters.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 5 - Health and Social Care
  • Considerable management experience in residential care
  • Excellent skills in staff supervision and management
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, developing good practice in a care/learning support context.
