About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Support Worker to join our team at The Lawrence, a specialist adult care service provided by Priory Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and other complex needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and household chores
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities and hobbies
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Manage challenging behaviors and provide de-escalation techniques

Requirements

  • Reliable and trustworthy individual with a caring and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors and provide de-escalation techniques
  • DBS clearance (cost covered by Priory)
