The Role:

You will be responsible for onboarding new customers and assisting in the progression of a caseload of non-injury, non-litigated claims for the recovery of uninsured losses following a road traffic accident.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Representing Direct Line Group in the conduct of client matters in a professional manner.
  • Converting client referrals into customers.
  • Managing a client's claim as part of a team by utilising prescribed processes and accurately documenting each activity.
  • Providing clear and accurate information to clients while proactively managing their expectations.
  • Managing cases effectively, ensuring that client work is progressed efficiently to meet team targets and Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensuring incoming post is reviewed daily and responded to promptly.
  • Referring clients to relevant departments as needed.
  • Reporting any potential conflicts, complaints, or acts of negligence to a team leader.

Requirements:

  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a legal or claims handling environment.
  • Previous experience of RTA claims and good road awareness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A consistent record of achieving targets.
