Job Summary

We are seeking a Front Desk Ambassador to join our team in delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for all guests from arrival to departure.

About the Role

The Front Desk Ambassador will provide exceptional customer service, respond to guest requests, and ensure that all interactions are positive and memorable. You will also take the initiative to add a personalized touch to each guest's stay, making them feel valued and appreciated.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests, checking them in and out smoothly while providing excellent service
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Process payments using credit cards or cash, ensuring accuracy and security
  • Communicate with guests through phone calls and emails, responding to their queries and concerns
  • Work flexible shifts, including mornings and afternoons, to meet the needs of the business
  • Encourage guests to enroll in our loyalty program, Accor Loyalty Membership
  • Promote hotel facilities and services to enhance the guest experience through upselling
  • Demonstrate a service-focused personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Handle guest complaints in accordance with Accor standards
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues across all departments
  • Ensure a smooth handover of information to the next shift team member and colleagues
  • Proactively address any issues or problems that may arise during the shift
  • Proficiency in Opera or similar systems is an asset
  • Fluency in English is essential

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful as a Front Desk Ambassador, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Opera or similar systems
  • Fluency in English

Working Conditions

This role requires working in a busy hotel environment, with frequent interactions with guests and colleagues. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
