Business Development Manager

4Leisure Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, industries, growth areas, trends, customers, and partnerships
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Support Regional Managers in identifying and developing local business opportunities
  • Develop and roll out sales building processes
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Undertake competitive analysis with Regional Managers
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on market research
  • Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align business development strategies with company goals
  • Coordinate with Regional Managers to ensure successful delivery of products and services
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on business development activities, progress, and results
Requirements:
  • Proven success in achieving targets and managing/maximising B2B client relationships
  • Experience in multi-cultural/franchise/retail organisations
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office
  • Commercially aware and a strategic thinker
  • Resilient, tenacious, and driven to seek new business and exceed targets
  • Customer focused
  • Excellent communicator with an ability to influence, negotiate, and persuade at all levels
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the UK
