As a Business Development Manager at Allica Bank, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with a portfolio of bridging finance introducers in the Home Counties. Your primary goal will be to establish Allica Bank as the preferred lender for commercial bridging finance in this region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with bridging finance introducers in the Home Counties
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote Allica Bank's brand and identify new opportunities for collaboration
  • Write credit papers in line with Allica Bank's credit policy and appetite, and work closely with various stakeholder teams to ensure smooth loan execution
  • Promote Allica Bank's culture and values, and comply with all mandatory policies and operational procedures
  • Deliver territory Business Plan and make an active contribution to targeted team lending volumes
  • Establish and actively manage objectives and a personal development plan
Requirements
  • Highly capable in business development with a track record of success in the property finance sector
  • Knowledge of the bridging finance process, including underwriting, deal structuring, and compliance
  • Strong network within the Home Counties, including brokers, property investors, and developers
  • Experience with other property finance products such as commercial investment and development finance
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Strong sales and business development acumen
  • Knowledge of the valuation and legal processes
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
