Job Title: Production Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our Flavoured Milk department at Muller Dairy in Gloucester.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide leadership, support, and coaching to packing and processing teams to ensure the smooth running of operations, delivery of the daily production plan, and responsibility for leading the flavoured milk teams in terms of performance, compliance, and company policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure legal compliance procedures and relevant company policies are followed.
  • Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles.
  • Consistently follow the company disciplinary, grievance, and attendance management procedures.
  • Manage the performance of Flavoured Milk team and achieve 100% completion of "Job chats" with all relevant staff.
  • Actively manage employee coaching, training, and development to provide effective succession planning and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensure that all asset care and start-up tasks are effectively carried out.
  • To effectively manage performance using the defined short interval control procedure.
  • Working with the Engineering Planner, ensure equipment is compliant.
  • Coach and lead PLFM teams to achieve the daily performance targets.
  • Influence all customer-facing staff to represent the business positively in terms of service, appearance, professionalism, and courtesy.
  • Lead site teams to meet customer specifications and requirements.
  • Contribute to the achievement of internal and external audit accreditation.
  • Ensuring the right product at the right time, first time for Filling Hall production.
  • Create and enable team to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and convert to own OPEX projects aligned to site business plan.
