About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Paediatric Respiratory Team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and advice to critically ill children with respiratory problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex respiratory conditions.
- Conduct specialist assessments, diagnostic procedures, and interpret results for paediatric patients with multifaceted respiratory and rehabilitation problems.
- Develop and implement policy changes that impact on all service users, ensuring quality standards and effectiveness of patient care.
- Supervise and coordinate junior staff, students, and assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Completed core rotations in acute respiratory, orthopaedics, neurology, and outpatients.
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and supervising students.
- Knowledge of recent practice issues and research, with the ability to present information clearly and logically.
