Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Specialist to join our team in Chiswick. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside support staff in class and providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adults with learning difficulties, including ADHD, SEMH, and ASC. Previous experience in sports, physical education, or outdoor education is also desirable.
You will be responsible for engaging pupils in their learning, supporting their social, emotional, and personal wellbeing, and assisting teachers with off-site activities such as Rock Climbing, Paddle Boarding, and sailing.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work collaboratively with the teaching team, provide effective support to students, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with challenging behaviour
- Assist teachers with off-site activities
- Engage pupils in their learning
- Support students' social, emotional, and personal wellbeing
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children and adults with learning difficulties
- Experience in sports, physical education, or outdoor education (desirable)
- Ability to engage pupils in their learning and support their wellbeing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary: £90 - £100/Day (inclusive of holiday pay at 12%)
