Kier Group is a leading UK construction and infrastructure services company. We are seeking a Graduate Building Services Engineer to join our construction team based in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on our structured graduate development programme. The programme has been designed to provide you with the experiences and tools needed for progression within your chosen career. As a Graduate Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and management of essential building systems, including mechanical, electrical systems. Your day-to-day will include assisting in the design, development, and coordination of building services systems, working closely with senior engineers to develop and refine design concepts that meet client specifications and comply with industry standards, preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD and BIM software, and conducting site visits and surveys to gather data, assess project needs, and ensure designs are implemented correctly. The graduate scheme will take 2 years to complete and has been designed to equip you with the skills you need to excel in your chosen profession and help you achieve professional membership or chartership. You will be enrolled onto our graduate scheme and will gain valuable hands-on experience in your field, develop technical and professional skills, build professional relationships and expand your network, and gain insights into your chosen industry and potential career paths. We are looking for people due to graduate in 2025, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in building services engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. The role of Building Services Engineer is great for you if you have a strong interest in building services engineering and a passion for sustainable design, proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant engineering tools, basic understanding of building services systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and must hold Full UK Drivers Licence.
