We are seeking a talented Graduate Building Services Engineer to join our construction team at Kier Group. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to launch a career in construction management and work on exciting projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and management of essential building systems, including mechanical, electrical systems. This role is designed for a recent graduate eager to develop their skills and knowledge in building services engineering.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design, development, and coordination of building services systems.
  • Working closely with senior engineers to develop and refine design concepts that meet client specifications and comply with industry standards.
  • Preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD and BIM software.
  • Conducting site visits and surveys to gather data, assess project needs, and ensure designs are implemented correctly.

As a Graduate Building Services Engineer, you will be part of our graduate scheme, which is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in your chosen profession. The programme will take 2 years to complete and includes opportunities for professional development, networking, and career advancement.

Requirements for the role include:

  • A degree in building services engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Basic understanding of building services systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A Full UK Drivers Licence.
