About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Recruitment Business Partner to join our team at Great Western Railway (GWR). As a key member of our Recruitment team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering innovative recruitment plans, attracting diverse talent at all levels, and driving our people agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create effective attraction and recruitment plans.
  • Develop and implement engaging job adverts and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activity.
  • Support the development of our employer brand awareness in the market.
  • Proactively gather market intelligence to gain a competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methods.
  • Maintain candidate data and the full lifecycle recruitment process via our applicant tracking system.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders across the GWR network.
  • Advise hiring managers and interview panels on interviewing best practices, focusing on driving diversity in our hires.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to advise on clear and effective job descriptions.
Requirements
  • Experience of leading and delivering recruitment activity in the volume and/or specialist space with an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) lens.
  • Experience of managing an end-to-end recruitment process, including conducting psychometric assessments, in a large, complex business.
