About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data-Driven Research Lead to join our team at Lifelancer. As a key member of our research department, you will play a critical role in driving our understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and data analysis.

Job Description:

  • Market Research Expertise: Lead research initiatives to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviors in the connected mobility sector.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct primary and secondary research, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis, to gather insights and validate hypotheses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, develop research methodologies, and interpret findings.
  • Research Reporting: Prepare and present research reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Industry Monitoring: Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to the connected mobility ecosystem.
  • Innovation Opportunities: Identify opportunities for innovation and growth based on research findings and market analysis.
  • Talent Development: Mentor and provide guidance to junior research analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Business Development Support: Support business development efforts by providing research insights and data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Sciences, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in quantitative market research or a related analytical role.
  • Skill Set: Strong analytical and numerical skills, proven ability in data and statistical analysis tools and techniques (MS Excel, Power BI, etc), and research methodologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with industry datamining tools (e.g., DB, Comtrade, Eurostat, etc) is a strong asset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas orally and in writing into clear and actionable insights.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quantitative Market Research: Proven track record of conducting quantitative market research and competitive analysis, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Connected Mobility Industry: Knowledge of the connected mobility industry, including familiarity with emerging technologies and market trends, is a plus.
