Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to join our team at BMG Research. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design of research materials, including questionnaires and topic guides.
  • Day-to-day project management, including planning, problem-solving, and supervising delivery.
  • Managing project teams and junior/early-career researchers.
  • Ensuring the quality of research materials and projects progress in line with BMG Research processes and standards.
  • Preparing presentations and reports for clients to a high standard.
  • Client servicing and management.
  • Reporting results in a clear, concise, and impactful way.

Person Specification:

  • 4+ years' experience of leading research projects.
  • Ability to manage project teams and the end-to-end research process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities accompanied by good numerical skills.
  • A knowledge of society and current affairs.
  • An understanding of data and analytical processes.
  • An ability to transform data/findings into an interesting story.
  • A full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective and efficient time management.
  • A keen eye for detail.
