The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in a senior operational management role, managing performance to agreed standards and simultaneously managing several projects. In particular, you will need to demonstrate that you can:

  1. React positively to continuous change and a fast pace of work.
  2. Provide professional and constructive challenge to colleagues at all grades to ensure that our programme remains compliant but is continuously improving and striving for excellence.
Main Duties of the Job

As the Data-Driven Programme Lead, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the programme.

The post holder will develop effective strategy and operational policies for promoting innovation across the directorate and into wider NHS England. Working closely with colleagues across the sector, ensuring coherent strategy and will:

  1. Drive the implementation of strategy for, supporting and ensuring alignment across the programme.
  2. Develop and lead the strategy for workforce planning across the directorate and associated activities, including government interaction.
  3. Develop and communicate the strategy and operational policies to support this vision.
  4. Engage with key strategic regional and national policy makers to inform development of strategy and policies.
  5. Working with providers and clinical experts to design new training products.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
