About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Safety Engineering Manager to join our Central SHEQ Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe delivery of projects across our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all staff are operationally competent for their assigned duties, with written documentation to support.
  • Maintain and develop all electrical external accreditations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures across the scope of MUS electrical work, ensuring consistency and best practice.
  • Manage a team to provide a service across all electrical work streams, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Develop and implement electronic field records, supporting the wider business interest.
  • Represent the company at national forums, including the Energy Network Association and Lloyds Register NERS Forum.
Requirements
  • Education to HNC or equivalent, with a degree preferred.
  • Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
  • Incorporated or Chartered Engineer preferred.
  • NICEIC certification.
  • Safety Qualification such as NEBOSH.
  • Strong operational background, preferably in association with DNOs or similar organizations.
  • Knowledge of Smart Metering and BS7671.
  • Team Management and interpersonal skills, with a clear focus on operational safety.
