Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager will foster a positive workplace culture, attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. This role oversees all HR functions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while promoting an innovative approach to student accommodation.

Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:
  • Lead recruitment efforts, creating job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding processes.
Employee Relations Duties:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff, addressing workplace concerns, promoting conflict resolution, and enhancing employee engagement.
Performance Management Tasks:
  • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to provide regular feedback, support career development, and recognize achievements.
Training and Development Obligations:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Policy Development Responsibilities:
  • Craft and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with company values and comply with legal regulations.
Compensation and Benefits Responsibilities:
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, ideally within a technology or student-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for fostering talent and driving organisational growth.
Salary:

£55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
