About the Role

As a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Safety and Maintenance: Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure everyone follows the correct processes.
  • Equipment Performance Monitoring: Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule additional servicing when required.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages as quickly as possible.
  • Process Improvement: Support in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the EU network.
Requirements
  • Apprentice Training: Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3.
  • Technical Leadership Experience: Relevant experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Experience: Relevant experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Automation Experience: Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English.
