Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Scania (Great Britain) Limited. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the required safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGVs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex faults on HGVs, using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
  • Work with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, meeting Scania's quality and safety requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in HGV maintenance and repair
  • Strong technical knowledge of HGV systems and components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
