Addiction Recovery Specialist

Aquarius is a charity that provides support services to individuals and families affected by substance misuse. We are currently seeking an experienced Complex Needs Practitioner to join our team in Aylesbury.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work, or relevant experience in the substance misuse field.
You will be responsible for engaging people in various interventions, using a person-centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience, and achieve positive outcomes. You will also work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A qualification in health/social care, youth and community work, or relevant experience in the substance misuse field
- An energetic and confident self-starter
- Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals
- Flexible approach, excellent record keeping, and report writing skills
