About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our Design team at Kier Group, based in the Liverpool / North of England region. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of major energy projects, including nuclear grade reinforced concrete and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of NEC Option C contracts for reinforced concrete frame building projects.
  • Produce programmes for acceptance, impact programmes, weekly lookaheads, project controls dashboards, reports, and programme narratives.
  • Analyse project metrics, including rates of work, to ensure key programme dates can be tracked with accuracy and displayed in project dashboards.
  • Support the commercial team to produce accurate forecasts to the end of project based on labour resource and materials forecasting.
Requirements
  • UK NEC contract based planning experience.
  • Familiarity with reinforced concrete frame building techniques/methodologies.
  • Previous construction experience, across a wide range of engineering projects, with a good understanding of commercial and contractual matters.
  • Ability to take ownership and contribute to planning, programme and risk from tender through to project completion.
