We are seeking a Construction Project Leader to become a vital part of our team at Kier Group, overseeing a significant development project.

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
As the Construction Project Leader, you will be tasked with ensuring the successful execution of construction initiatives, meeting both operational and financial objectives through proficient management of project teams and collaboration with various stakeholders. Your role will encompass the following:
- Oversee and evaluate subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with project timelines and utilizing insights from site management to generate monthly reports that track compliance with project and financial benchmarks.
- Guarantee adherence to safety protocols and regulations as established by Kier and relevant governing bodies, ensuring full compliance with Kier's fundamental safety principles.
- Ensure that all work meets the quality standards outlined in the project quality plan and is conducted in accordance with Kier's environmental guidelines.
- Review and distribute design documentation promptly to the supply chain in accordance with project schedules.
- Facilitate essential project meetings with design, commercial, site management teams, subcontractor management, and client representatives.
Candidate Profile:
This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong enthusiasm for the construction sector and can demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant technical qualifications in construction or engineering, such as a Degree, HND, City & Guilds, along with appropriate certifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
- Extensive experience in leading the delivery of high-value construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of project delivery under NEC and JCT contract frameworks.
- Proficiency in IT applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ASTA Power Project, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to identify and mitigate project risks.
