Quarriers' Stopover project offers a unique opportunity to support young people in developing their independent living skills.

The service provides 24-hour accommodation based housing support to 14 young individuals aged 16-25, each with their own bedsit room featuring a sitting area, kitchen, and en-suite bathroom.

As a Transition Mentor, you will work on a rolling 7-week rota, consisting of early, day, late, and sleepover shifts. This is a full-time permanent position, requiring a 39-hour workweek.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
  • Able to build trusting relationships and communicate effectively
  • Empathy and excellent interpersonal skills
  • A team player with the ability to apply transferable life experiences and skills
  • A valid driving license
