Job Overview

Quarriers is a leading provider of adult care services in Glasgow, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and additional needs. We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of those we support.

About the Position

This is a permanent role working 39 hours per week. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to front-line staff, ensuring that individuals receive high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to front-line staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Leading by example and promoting a positive culture within the team.
  • Managing the monthly rota to ensure adequate staffing levels and cover for absences.
  • Developing and implementing individual support plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each person we support.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of support plans and making adjustments as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience of working in adult care services, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, individuals, and external agencies.
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and reliability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide support and guidance to colleagues when needed.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
