Job Title:

Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEN school. The successful candidate will be supporting pupils with complex needs, including MLD, PMLD, physical needs, and a range of SEN.

As a Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils aged 11-19 in the secondary part of the school. Your role will involve support across multiple classes, some one-to-one teaching assistant work, and small class support. You will be supporting the class teacher as part of a team of teaching assistants, helping the children with their needs.

Some of the key responsibilities include delivering sensory curriculum-based learning activities, promoting happiness and self-reliance, and encouraging positive interactions among students. If you have experience working with children who require personal care, lifting, and physical support, this could be an ideal role for you.

In return, Remedy Education offers competitive rates of pay, a dedicated SEN Consultant, and access to our 'Refer a Friend' scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected education recruiter and make a real difference in the lives of students with complex needs.
