At CV-Library, we are seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a key member of our hybrid working team, you will have the opportunity to further your career and make a real difference in the lives of claimants.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Paramedics to utilise their skills and experience in a unique and challenging role.

You will be responsible for delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR) to claimants with a wide range of health conditions and disabilities.

We offer a competitive salary range of £38,500 - £41,500 per annum, 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality & retention bonus, and total OTE: £45,650. You will also enjoy hybrid full-time, part-time working hours, generous holiday entitlement, company-provided laptop and mobile phone, access to Health & Wellbeing programme and Headspace mobile app, annual charity day, employee network groups, company-matched pension and life assurance, and 15 weeks' paid maternity leave.

About Your New Role:
  • You will manage caseloads from end to end, ensuring that all assessments are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
  • You will assess a wide range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
  • Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions is required.
