Hours: Full Time (Monday – Friday, 08:30-15:30)

Estimated Salary Range: £52,000 - £72,000 per annum (based on location and experience)

Company Overview:

CV-Library is partnering with a primary school in the Birmingham area to find a full-time Educational Support Assistant.

The ideal candidate will work one-to-one with a child in Year 2 who has Autism and is non-verbal, providing essential support for their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with special needs, including sensory and physical impairments, cognitive or learning difficulties, and communication and interaction difficulties.
  • Provide support for bilingual/multilingual pupils where necessary.
  • Contribute to the health and well-being of pupils.
  • Support pupils to access the curriculum.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Preferable NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience of working with children or individuals with special needs.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Experience with SEND is essential.
