Key Responsibilities

The School & College Outreach Officer will be responsible for:

  • Qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting donors capable of making gifts of $1,000 or more;
  • Managing the President's Club program, including drafting communications and event support;
  • Recording moves, asks, and outcomes using Advance and Fundraising Performance Management systems;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Fordham University team and contribute to the growth of the leadership annual giving program. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of higher education fundraising principles and practices.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, and generous time off.

Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in development, demonstrating a successful track record in solicitation efforts;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence necessary to engage in face-to-face and/or phone solicitations;
  • Ability to inspire, generate excitement, shared purpose, and action;
  • Valid driver's license required.
