HV Commissioning Engineer / AP Midlands – South

To £57,000 basic + Car Allowance / Van + Paid Overtime + Pension (7%)

Morgan Ryder is seeking a talented Commissioning Engineer or Authorised Person to join the Engineering team, providing high-quality installation, maintenance, and support services for HV assets across private networks in the Midlands and South of the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate commissioning plans, schedules, and performance testing, ensuring efficiency and quality
  • Develop and refine commissioning procedures, ensuring technical compliance and quality control
  • Utilise advanced testing equipment for commissioning and testing various HV assets
  • Work closely with a team of skilled Engineers, SAPs/ AP's and support staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment
  • Reading and understanding complex electrical drawings and relay logic design documentation
  • Providing technical advice and customer communications to support tendering and project managers
  • Proven experience in the Electrical and Distribution Industry
  • Electrical Authorisation; private network, UKPN, DNO
  • Electrical Engineering qualification and certification
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and work occasional overtime at weekends
Flexible Work Environment:

Home-based role with travel to sites, core hours from 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:00 on Fridays.
