Electrical Designer/Manager - High Voltage

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Designer/Manager to join our Net Zero (EV) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high and low voltage electrical distribution systems connected to low voltage electrical systems of EV chargers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high and low voltage electrical distribution systems
  • Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and identify potential issues
  • Review project requirements and specifications to ensure designs meet standards and regulations
  • Manage and track a pipeline of designs through to pricing and construction
  • Ensure instructed projects are tracked against key milestones to facilitate accurate forecasting of work and resources
  • Maximise revenue and profit from customer contracts through identifying opportunities for cost savings and additional chargeable activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Ability to manage and track multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong technical and analytical skills to support construction and commissioning teams
  • Robust skills in preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Full driving licence
  • Minimum of five years' experience in analysing end user electrical load requirements and designing systems
  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices
  • Knowledge of calculating, validating, and negotiating asset values for HV and LV electrical assets
