Job Description

Job Title: Financial Transaction Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Transaction Officer to join our team at Paradigm Housing Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our purchase invoice process, ensuring that payments are accurate, timely, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with budget holders to ensure invoices are coded and authorized correctly.
  • Resolve queries from suppliers and budget holders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide cover across the team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Process inter-company transactions, handle direct debit payments, and reconcile relevant invoices.
  • Prepare and post invoices before payment, and prepare BACS payment runs and liaise with approvers.
  • Prepare and submit Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns to HMRC.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a background in accounts payable or financial systems, with a thorough approach to managing financial data. Your strong communication and customer service skills will help you build effective relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers. A passion for continuous improvement and teamwork will drive your success in this role.
