Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Transaction Officer to join our team at Paradigm Housing Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our purchase invoice process, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining high standards of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify purchase invoices for accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with budget holders to ensure invoices are coded and authorized correctly
  • Resolve queries from suppliers and budget holders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide cover across the team as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Process inter-company transactions, direct debit payments, and consolidated invoices from regular suppliers
  • Prepare and post invoices before payment, and prepare BACS payment runs
  • Submit Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns to HMRC

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a background in accounts payable or financial systems, and a strong approach to managing financial data. Your excellent communication and customer service skills will help you build effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. A passion for continuous improvement and teamwork will drive your success in this role.
