We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team at Babcock International. As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant state of various plant within HMNB Clyde.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the continued safe and compliant state of various plant within HMNB Clyde by conducting examinations, diagnosing, predicting, and preventing failures for all Regulatory Systems.
  • Assist the Co-ordinating Authorising Engineer in maximising the utilisation of all the section's resources and attend meetings as required to provide specialist Engineering advice on all Pressure Systems, building water systems and Local Exhaust Ventilation systems.
  • Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company's cost, time and quality requirements.
  • Implement the Company Safety, Quality and Environmental policies in the Quality area of the business ensuring that assessments of risks are carried out which lead to safe working attitudes and practices.
Requirements
  • Experience with General Mechanical Systems.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Systems and equipment and associated legislation.
  • Knowledge of Planning processes.
