About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at Penguin Books Limited. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns to drive sales and growth for our non-fiction and cookery list.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote our frontlist and bestselling catalogue titles
  • Work closely with the editorial, publicity, and sales teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Manage and deliver creative and audience-facing marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and events
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and plans to drive sales and growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and brands to enhance our marketing efforts

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing management, preferably in the book publishing industry
  • Strong understanding of the non-fiction and cookery markets, including consumer trends and competitor activity
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
