Small Animal Pain Management Expert
As an Expert in Small Animal Pain Management, you will be working closely with our RVNs, many of whom are studying towards further qualifications in rehabilitation, to develop effective treatment plans for patients. This role offers a supportive team environment, enhanced company sick pay, and a competitive salary of 44000-60000 depending on experience, with typically just 1:4 Saturdays, and one late shift every two weeks.
About the Job
Our rehabilitation service provides care for patients recovering from surgery, suffering from painful and debilitating arthritis or other bone/joint problems, affected by neurological or spinal conditions, and those needing to lose weight or regain muscle condition and fitness. You will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team to develop individual treatment plans, utilizing a range of equipment including underwater treadmills, therapeutic ultrasound and laser units, electrotherapy for pain relief and muscle maintenance, and exercise equipment.
Work-Life Balance
Our team prioritizes work-life balance, with a 4-day week, 6 weeks holiday including bank holidays, and approximately 1:9 daytime weekends at the hospital. You will also receive professional fees paid for RCVS, VDS, BSAVA, and BVA membership, visa sponsorship, assistance with finding accommodation, an Employee Assistance Program, enhanced maternity and adoption pay, and shared parental leave.
