Nurse Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nurse to work in the field of Diabetes, supporting healthcare professionals and patients in making informed decisions about treatment pathways. Working in partnership with the NHS in primary care, you will deliver a unique nursing programme focused on driving best practice, delivering excellent patient care, and improving patient outcomes.
As a specialist nurse advisor, you will work closely with patients and practices to assist healthcare professionals in delivering up-to-date care for their patients. This role requires a patient-focused NMC registered nurse with experience of working in Diabetes, excellent planning and organisational skills, and confident driving abilities.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience managing diabetes within primary care, be knowledgeable and confident in providing education, support, and advice to people with Type 2 Diabetes, and possess skills and knowledge in the optimisation of oral hypoglycaemics.
