About the Role

Maximus UK is seeking a dedicated Nurse Functional Assessor to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will leverage your clinical expertise to assess individuals with complex health conditions.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough assessments, producing comprehensive reports that inform decision-making. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and mentorship, ensuring that you remain current with best practices and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess individuals with complex health conditions, including physical and mental health impairments and chronic pain disorders
  • Produce high-quality reports supporting informed decision-making
  • Develop and maintain strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration number
  • At least one year of post-registration experience in adult or mental health nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
