CQC Registered Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled CQC Registered Manager to lead our new Domiciliary team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing day-to-day operations, delivering high-quality home care services, and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure safe delivery of services in line with legislative requirements and company policies.
  2. Undertake training and development to stay updated with the law, best practice, and company policies.
  3. Monitor health and safety in the workplace and field, and lead infection prevention and control.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements.
  5. Implement quality management and improvement systems, managing complaints and incidents, and carrying out investigations.
  6. Conduct client needs assessments, identify risks, and develop tailored care plans.
  7. Provide clients and their representatives with information about the service, ensuring their expectations are met.
  8. Manage CQC registration, startup, recruitment, induction, and training of the office team and support staff.
  9. Ensure sufficient, qualified staff are allocated to meet service demands and client needs.
  10. Implement company policies and procedures regarding absence, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
  11. Deal with emergency on-call issues, such as covering calls or securing staff when carers are absent or ill.
  12. Represent the service positively at external meetings and assist in the growth and development of the business.
Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years of Registered Manager experience and CQC registration experience.
  2. Professional, compassionate, and excellent time management and reliability skills.
  3. UK Driver's license and own car (ideal).
  4. Excellent understanding and experience of the Care Industry and home care support.
  5. Strong communication skills to build client relationships and work with staff, families, and health professionals.
  6. Experience in risk assessments, CQC Inspections, and knowledge of confidentiality, health and safety, and abuse matters.
  7. Ability to provide support for clients' daily living with dignity and respect.
  8. Experience in staff management, recruiting, training, supporting, and supervising.
  9. NQV Level 5 Social Care Leadership & Management qualification.

A satisfactory DBS check, full UK driving license, and own vehicle with relevant MOT are required. We offer a salary of between £38,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience, plus additional bonuses.
