Your Responsibilities
As a Residential Children's Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering person-centred support to children with diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
- Facilitating children's participation in local community activities and events.
- Supporting children in daily living skills, such as meal preparation, household chores, and personal hygiene.
- Identifying and reporting any concerns or suspicions of harm to vulnerable children.
- Pursuing continuous professional development through training and workshop participation.
- Being flexible and willing to cover other homes when required to support team coverage.
- Maintaining effective communication and collaboration with parents/carers and other professionals.
