We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at the Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of others.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services and actively involved in the strategic development of the team and broader services. Our trust provides a full range of general hospital services to around 500,000 people living in the South of West Kent and parts of North East Sussex.

The role requires providing psychiatric care to patients referred to the Liaison Psychiatry Service, as well as providing professional leadership, clinical supervision, and clinical leadership to the medical team and multidisciplinary team. You will also ensure effective liaison between mental health services and the acute hospital, as well as other agencies in the voluntary and statutory sectors.

This position offers a competitive salary of approximately £83,245 per annum, plus benefits such as generous annual leave and study leave entitlement, access to the NHS pension scheme, and a car lease scheme. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise, and be included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months. You should also have Approved Clinician status or be able to achieve this within three months of appointment.
