We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our team at Kate+Co. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our employee experience and supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Recruitment and Onboarding:** Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • **Employee Records and Data Management:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and performance data. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • **Employee Engagement and Development:** Coordinate employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive workplace culture. Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • **HR Policy and Procedure Implementation:** Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • **Performance Management:** Assist with performance management processes, including scheduling reviews and maintaining documentation. Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees.
  • **Employee Communications:** Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep employees informed.
Requirements:
  • **Experience:** 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • **Skills:** Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
